MILTON, Mass. – The Eastern Nazarene College baseball team dropped a pair of conference games at Curry Friday, falling 1-0 and 8-1.

The Lions slip to 5-10 on the year and 1-5 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Colonels improve to 5-10 overall and 3-1 in league play.

Zach Zaino (Falmouth, Mass.) posted two base knocks and drove in one RBI. Andrew Santora (Middle Village, N.Y.) and Connor Simpson (Haverhill, Mass.) both notched two hits on the day.

Curry edged Eastern Nazarene 1-0 in the opening tilt, scoring the game's lone run in the second inning.

Cameron Fiorentino (Uxbridge, Mass.) pitched a complete game and registered nine strikeouts in six innings.

In game two, Eastern Nazarene pushed across just one run on seven hits as Curry claimed an 8-1 win.

The hosts manufactured three runs in the first before the visitors cut the deficit to two with a run in the top of the second inning, 3-1.

The Colonels tacked on three runs in the fourth and a pair of runs in the fifth to clinch the victory.

Ragan Cole (Alamogordo, N.M.) tossed 4.2 innings and fanned two batters. Ryan Spina (Selden, N.Y.) hurled 1.1 innings of relief and finished with two strikeouts.

Up next, Eastern Nazarene travels to the Ocean State to battle Roger Williams April 8.
