SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Sophomore Josh Rice (Hanson, Mass.) of the Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team has been selected to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference third team, announced the league office Monday afternoon.
Rice appeared in all 25 games this season and started 22 contests.
He paced the Lions and ranked 10th in the conference with 15.7 points per game while adding 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
A sharpshooter from behind the arc, Rice ranked third nationally with a three-point shooting percentage of 49.3% as he splashed 75 treys on the year. He also ranked second in the league in free-throw accuracy (89.3%) while his field-goal percentage (54.3%) ranked ninth.
The sophomore wingman posted a pair of double-doubles this season and set a new career-high with 30 points in a 128-102 victory over the University of New England January 5.
Eastern Nazarene finished the 2017-18 campaign with a 7-16 overall record to go with a 5-13 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
