QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's soccer team will play 18 matches during the 2017 campaign.
The Lions open the season with back-to-back home games, hosting Lesley September 1 before turning around to battle Regis 24 hours later.
Eastern Nazarene hits the road September 5 for a five-match road swing beginning with a tussle at perennial powerhouse Amherst. The Lions will play at Husson and Newbury before opening Commonwealth Coast Conference play at Endicott September 16. Eastern Nazarene are slated to play at Springfield in its fifth away match in a row September 18.
The Lions return home September 23 to take on the University of New England at the newly-constructed Creedon Field in North Quincy. Eastern Nazarene will close out the month of September at Nichols on September 29.
On October 2, Eastern Nazarene will host Emerson in its second annual "Night of Nets" match to raise funds to purchase malaria nets in Zambia, Africa.
The Lions will visit Becker October 4 and will resume league action October 6 at Curry. Eastern Nazarene welcomes Salve Regina to Veterans Memorial Stadium October 10 before a non-conference tilt at Pine Manor October 12.
Eastern Nazarene will take on Western New England on Homecoming Weekend October 14.
The Lions will host Gordon October 18 and Wentworth October 21 before wrapping up the regular season at Roger Williams on October 24.
In head coach Mark Bell's first season, Eastern Nazarene posted a 6-11-2 overall record last fall and finished with a 2-7 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference to reach the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament for the first time since 2012.
