BEVERLY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College softball team was ousted from the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament after enduring a heartbreaking 4-3 loss at top-seeded Endicott Saturday afternoon.

The second-seeded Lions end the historic season with a 28-12 overall record. The Gulls improve to 30-5 on the year and advance to the CCC Tournament finals.

Lauren Clements (Garrison, Texas) notched two hits, one RBI, one run scored, and a pair of walks. Rebecca Ashman (Havre de Grace, Md.) and Jenessa Huerta (El Monte, Calif.) each recorded one base knock and drive in one RBI. Elisabeth Schaffer (Benton, Pa.) scored a run and landed one hit.

Eastern Nazarene manufactured three runs in the top of the second inning to capture a 3-0 lead. Clements crushed her team-leading 10th home run of the season to leadoff the frame. Huerta and Ashman registered back-to-back RBI singles to score Viviana Coix (Warrenville, Ill.) and Schaffer.

Endicott got on the board with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth to cut the deficit to 3-2. Emily Sharpe belted a two-out, two-run homer to knock in Gina DeMilt.

The Gulls walked-off with the win after plating two runs in the home half of the seventh inning. Lindsee Allienello doubled to the gap in right-center to drive in both runs as Kayla Sheldon scored the game-tying run and Peyton Atkins tallied the game-winning score.

Schaffer threw a complete game and fanned 13 in the pitcher's circle.
