ENC Women's Basketball - "DONAT3"

During the 2019-20 season, the Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team will be donating money to OneVOICE, DOVE, and The Dianne Devanna Center for every three-pointer the Lions make. Throughout the course of the season, the women's basketball team will host awareness games for each of the three charity organizations.

Founded by ENC women's basketball alumna Nicole Braddock Bromley, OneVOICE and OneVOICE4freedom stops child sex trafficking around the world by being a voice of awareness and prevention to those who are at high risk of being trafficked and giving hope and healing resources to those who have already been exploited.

The organization has an Amazon wish list for some of the items that go into Freedom Bags for survivors of sexual abuse and human trafficking.

DOVE has expanded from a crisis hotline to a multi-service organization providing comprehensive direct services and support for victims of dating and domestic violence, as well as their children. DOVE works specifically with adults, teens, and children who have been abused, emotionally and financially, as well as physically and sexually.  DOVE’s services include crisis intervention, danger assessment and safety planning, supportive counseling, emergency shelter, legal advocacy and representation, and community outreach, education, and training. DOVE remains the only domestic violence shelter and community-based service provider based in Norfolk County, and also serves the greater South Shore.  DOVE strives to educate individuals, families and the community at-large to help change the societal conditions that allow domestic violence to persist.

The Dianne DeVanna Center, since 1978, has been reaching out to children, families and communities to provide education, support and services so that children have a stable, loving and nurturing environment to live and grow. In 2012, the Dianne DeVanna Center became part of the Bay State Community Service (BSCS) continuum of care.
