QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team has released its 30-match 2017 schedule.
The program's 47th year will see the Lions play 14 matches on their home court under head coach Derek Schmitt, who will be entering his second stint at the helm.
Eastern Nazarene will open the season September 1 and 2 as it hosts a four-team, two-day tournament with Salem State, Mount Ida, and Newbury.
The Lions will battle Eastern Connecticut State on September 5 at the Lahue Physical Education Center for the first time since 2013.
After non-conference tilts against Emmanuel, Lasell, and UMass-Dartmouth, Eastern Nazarene returns home to host five-consecutive matches. The Lions will battle Suffolk, the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Mitchell, and Pine Manor at home before opening Commonwealth Coast Conference play against Western New England on September 20.
Eastern Nazarene will travel to Curry for a tri-match with Bay Path on September 23 before visiting Nichols for a league clash September 26.
The Lions are slated to host Elms September 27 and will head to Wheaton September 30 for a tri-match with Smith College.
Eastern Nazarene hosts Salve Regina October 4 then will head north for a tri-match at Colby-Sawyer with Worcester State October 7.
After a conference matchup at the University of New England October 10, the Lions will square off against Pine Manor during Homecoming Weekend October 14.
Eastern Nazarene will host Gordon, visit Roger Williams, and return home to battle Wentworth in a stretch of three-straight conference contests.
The Lions will venture to Buzzards Bay for their second tussle of the season against the Massachusetts Maritime Academy October 25. Eastern Nazarene will close out the regular season with a tri-match at Endicott along with Rivier.
