SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Senior Kayla Torio (Manteca, Calif.) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's basketball team has been named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference third team, announced the league office Monday afternoon.
Torio started 21 of the 23 games in which she saw action this season. She averaged 10.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game during the regular season.
Torio ranked fifth in the conference in field-goal percentage at 44.1% on the year and ranked 10th in three-point shooting with a mark of 33.0%.
She scored in double-digits in 10 games this season, including four 20-plus-point performances.
Eastern Nazarene finished the regular season with a 12-13 overall record to go with a 6-12 mark in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Lions grabbed the No. 8 seed in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament and will travel to top-seeded University of New England February 20.
