Ruth Aguilar Earns Fourth-Consecutive NECC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week Accolade

MANSFIELD, Mass.- Sophomore Ruth Aguilar (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) of the Eastern Nazarene College women's volleyball team has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week for the fourth week in a row, announced the league office Monday.

Aguilar posted her second triple-double of the season to lead the Lions to a 3-1 victory at Elms. She racked up 18 kills, 17 assists, and 13 digs in the win while also adding a pair of blocks and one service ace.

Aguilar leads the conference with 4.29 kills-per-set and 163 total kills while ranking second in the league with a .287 hitting percentage.

Eastern Nazarene boasts an 8-4 overall record with a 2-0 mark in the NECC. The Lions return to the court October 3 as they travel to Emmanuel for an inter-conference matchup.
